Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written:Mt 12:15Aware of this, Jesus withdrew from that place. A large crowd followed him, and he healed all who were ill.Isa 52:13See, my servant will act wisely; he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted.Mt 15:7You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you:Isa 8:1The Lord said to me, ‘Take a large scroll and write on it with an ordinary pen: Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz.’1Ch 12:4and Ishmaiah the Gibeonite, a mighty warrior among the Thirty, who was a leader of the Thirty; Jeremiah, Jahaziel, Johanan, Jozabad the Gederathite,Mt 12:17This was to fulfil what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah:Isa 45:4For the sake of Jacob my servant, of Israel my chosen, I summon you by name and bestow on you a title of honour, though you do not acknowledge me.Isa 38:4Then the word of the Lord came to Isaiah:Isa 62:11The Lord has made proclamation to the ends of the earth: ‘Say to Daughter Zion, “See, your Saviour comes! See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him.” ’Isa 63:1Who is this coming from Edom, from Bozrah, with his garments stained crimson? Who is this, robed in splendour, striding forward in the greatness of his strength? ‘It is I, proclaiming victory, mighty to save.’Isa 48:14‘Come together, all of you, and listen: which of the idols has foretold these things? I am fainting; my life is given over to murderers.’Isa 49:1Listen to me, you islands; hear this, you distant nations: before I was born the Lord called me; from my mother’s womb he has spoken my name.Isa 40:9You who bring good news to Zion, go up on a high mountain. And what shepherd can stand against me?’Re 15:3and sang the song of God’s servant Moses and of the Lamb: ‘Great and marvellous are your deeds, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are your ways, King of the nations.Isa 5:26He lifts up a banner for the distant nations, he whistles for those at the ends of the earth. Here they come, swiftly and speedily!Isa 44:2This is what the Lord says – he who made you, who formed you in the womb, and who will help you: do not be afraid, Jacob, my servant, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.Isa 61:1The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. Announce this with shouts of joy and proclaim it. The Lord, who stretches out the heavens, who lays the foundation of the earth, and who forms the human spirit within a person, declares:Ho 4:17Ephraim is joined to idols; leave him alone!Isa 24:16From the ends of the earth we hear singing: ‘Glory to the Righteous One.’ But I said, ‘I waste away, I waste away! Woe to me! The treacherous betray! With treachery the treacherous betray!’
