Ac 1:15In those days Peter stood up among the believers (a group numbering about a hundred and twenty)Ac 2:47praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.Nu 31:4016,000 people, of whom the tribute for the Lord was 32.Ac 1:26Then they cast lots, and the lot fell to Matthias; so he was added to the eleven apostles.Ac 5:12The apostles performed many signs and wonders among the people. And all the believers used to meet together in Solomon’s Colonnade.Ga 2:1Then after fourteen years, I went up again to Jerusalem, this time with Barnabas. I took Titus along also.Ac 13:52And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.Ac 8:4Those who had been scattered preached the word wherever they went.Ac 1:12Then the apostles returned to Jerusalem from the hill called the Mount of Olives, a Sabbath day’s walk from the city.Ac 16:10After Paul had seen the vision, we got ready at once to leave for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.Ac 11:1The apostles and the believers throughout Judea heard that the Gentiles also had received the word of God.Ac 6:8Now Stephen, a man full of God’s grace and power, performed great wonders and signs among the people.Mr 6:30The apostles gathered round Jesus and reported to him all they had done and taught.Ac 1:1In my former book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teachAc 2:42They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.Ac 1:2until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen.1Co 15:5and that he appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve.Ac 16:9During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging him, ‘Come over to Macedonia and help us.’Ac 2:43Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles.Ac 23:23Then he called two of his centurions and ordered them, ‘Get ready a detachment of two hundred soldiers, seventy horsemen and two hundred spearmen to go to Caesarea at nine tonight.Ac 20:7On the first day of the week we came together to break bread. Paul spoke to the people and, because he intended to leave the next day, kept on talking until midnight.Re 7:1After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree.Ac 1:16and said, ‘Brothers and sisters, the Scripture had to be fulfilled in which the Holy Spirit spoke long ago through David concerning Judas, who served as guide for those who arrested Jesus.Ac 16:6Paul and his companions travelled throughout the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been kept by the Holy Spirit from preaching the word in the province of Asia.Ac 4:37sold a field he owned and brought the money and put it at the apostles’ feet.Ac 15:3The church sent them on their way, and as they travelled through Phoenicia and Samaria, they told how the Gentiles had been converted. This news made all the believers very glad.Ac 21:10After we had been there a number of days, a prophet named Agabus came down from Judea.Ac 28:31He proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ – with all boldness and without hindrance!Ac 13:5When they arrived at Salamis, they proclaimed the word of God in the Jewish synagogues. John was with them as their helper.Ac 20:1When the uproar had ended, Paul sent for the disciples and, after encouraging them, said goodbye and set out for Macedonia.Ac 5:41The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name.1Co 15:7Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles,Ac 16:16Once when we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a female slave who had a spirit by which she predicted the future. She earned a great deal of money for her owners by fortune-telling.Ac 21:27When the seven days were nearly over, some Jews from the province of Asia saw Paul at the temple. They stirred up the whole crowd and seized him,Ac 13:31and for many days he was seen by those who had travelled with him from Galilee to Jerusalem. They are now his witnesses to our people.Ac 4:35and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need.Ac 4:31After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.Ac 13:43When the congregation was dismissed, many of the Jews and devout converts to Judaism followed Paul and Barnabas, who talked with them and urged them to continue in the grace of God.Lu 6:12One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God.Ac 4:4But many who heard the message believed; so the number of men who believed grew to about five thousand.Re 19:1After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting: ‘Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,Ac 18:27When Apollos wanted to go to Achaia, the brothers and sisters encouraged him and wrote to the disciples there to welcome him. When he arrived, he was a great help to those who by grace had believed.Ac 1:3After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.Ac 13:2While they were worshipping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, ‘Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.’Ac 13:48When the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and honoured the word of the Lord; and all who were appointed for eternal life believed.Lu 9:10When the apostles returned, they reported to Jesus what they had done. Then he took them with him and they withdrew by themselves to a town called Bethsaida,Ac 19:19A number who had practised sorcery brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly. When they calculated the value of the scrolls, the total came to fifty thousand drachmas.Ac 21:17When we arrived at Jerusalem, the brothers and sisters received us warmly.Ac 4:33With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them allAc 14:1At Iconium Paul and Barnabas went as usual into the Jewish synagogue. There they spoke so effectively that a great number of Jews and Greeks believed.Ac 2:14Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: ‘Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say.Ac 19:8Paul entered the synagogue and spoke boldly there for three months, arguing persuasively about the kingdom of God.Ac 9:31Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee and Samaria enjoyed a time of peace and was strengthened. Living in the fear of the Lord and encouraged by the Holy Spirit, it increased in numbers.Ac 11:28One of them, named Agabus, stood up and through the Spirit predicted that a severe famine would spread over the entire Roman world. (This happened during the reign of Claudius.)Ac 20:36When Paul had finished speaking, he knelt down with all of them and prayed.Ac 8:1And Saul approved of their killing him. On that day a great persecution broke out against the church in Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria.Ac 18:5When Silas and Timothy came from Macedonia, Paul devoted himself exclusively to preaching, testifying to the Jews that Jesus was the Messiah.Ac 15:4When they came to Jerusalem, they were welcomed by the church and the apostles and elders, to whom they reported everything God had done through them.Ac 2:41Those who accepted his message were baptised, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.Ac 14:27On arriving there, they gathered the church together and reported all that God had done through them and how he had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles.Ac 20:13We went on ahead to the ship and sailed for Assos, where we were going to take Paul aboard. He had made this arrangement because he was going there on foot.Ac 16:13On the Sabbath we went outside the city gate to the river, where we expected to find a place of prayer. We sat down and began to speak to the women who had gathered there.Ac 1:8But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.’Ac 19:17When this became known to the Jews and Greeks living in Ephesus, they were all seized with fear, and the name of the Lord Jesus was held in high honour.Ac 1:22beginning from John’s baptism to the time when Jesus was taken up from us. For one of these must become a witness with us of his resurrection.’Ac 28:23They arranged to meet Paul on a certain day, and came in even larger numbers to the place where he was staying. He witnessed to them from morning till evening, explaining about the kingdom of God, and from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets he tried to persuade them about Jesus.Ac 9:1Meanwhile, Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the Lord’s disciples. This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.’Ac 27:2We boarded a ship from Adramyttium about to sail for ports along the coast of the province of Asia, and we put out to sea. Aristarchus, a Macedonian from Thessalonica, was with us.Ac 18:24Meanwhile a Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, came to Ephesus. He was a learned man, with a thorough knowledge of the Scriptures.Jud 1:17But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold.Eph 1:5he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will –Ac 13:47For this is what the Lord has commanded us: ‘ “I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.” ’Ac 8:40Philip, however, appeared at Azotus and travelled about, preaching the gospel in all the towns until he reached Caesarea.Ac 1:4On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: ‘Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about.Ac 14:22strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. ‘We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God,’ they said.Mr 13:10And the gospel must first be preached to all nations.Lu 6:13When morning came, he called his disciples to him and chose twelve of them, whom he also designated apostles:1Co 3:5What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe – as the Lord has assigned to each his task.Lu 22:47While he was still speaking a crowd came up, and the man who was called Judas, one of the Twelve, was leading them. He approached Jesus to kiss him,Ac 12:25When Barnabas and Saul had finished their mission, they returned from Jerusalem, taking with them John, also called Mark.Ac 21:4We sought out the disciples there and stayed with them seven days. Through the Spirit they urged Paul not to go on to Jerusalem.Ac 17:4Some of the Jews were persuaded and joined Paul and Silas, as did a large number of God-fearing Greeks and quite a few prominent women.Mr 8:1During those days another large crowd gathered. Since they had nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciples to him and said,Ac 13:1Now in the church at Antioch there were prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen (who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch) and Saul.Ac 12:17Peter motioned with his hand for them to be quiet and described how the Lord had brought him out of prison. ‘Tell James and the other brothers and sisters about this,’ he said, and then he left for another place.Ro 1:2the gospel he promised beforehand through his prophets in the Holy ScripturesMr 16:20Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it.Re 1:1The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John,Mr 6:43and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces of bread and fish.Ga 1:2and all the brothers and sisters with me, To the churches in Galatia:Ac 1:9After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.Ac 10:9About noon the following day as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray.Ac 9:27But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles. He told them how Saul on his journey had seen the Lord and that the Lord had spoken to him, and how in Damascus he had preached fearlessly in the name of Jesus.Ac 12:10They passed the first and second guards and came to the iron gate leading to the city. It opened for them by itself, and they went through it. When they had walked the length of one street, suddenly the angel left him.Ga 1:18Then after three years, I went up to Jerusalem to get acquainted with Cephas and stayed with him fifteen days.Lu 1:1Many have undertaken to draw up an account of the things that have been fulfilled among us,Ac 14:7where they continued to preach the gospel.
