Ac 1:16and said, ‘Brothers and sisters, the Scripture had to be fulfilled in which the Holy Spirit spoke long ago through David concerning Judas, who served as guide for those who arrested Jesus.Ac 5:12The apostles performed many signs and wonders among the people. And all the believers used to meet together in Solomon’s Colonnade.Ac 1:4On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: ‘Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about.Ac 13:47For this is what the Lord has commanded us: ‘ “I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.” ’Ac 6:8Now Stephen, a man full of God’s grace and power, performed great wonders and signs among the people.1Co 3:5What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe – as the Lord has assigned to each his task.Ac 20:36When Paul had finished speaking, he knelt down with all of them and prayed.Ac 5:32We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.’Ac 9:34‘Aeneas,’ Peter said to him, ‘Jesus Christ heals you. Get up and roll up your mat.’ Immediately Aeneas got up.Ac 11:1The apostles and the believers throughout Judea heard that the Gentiles also had received the word of God.Ac 1:8But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.’Ac 28:23They arranged to meet Paul on a certain day, and came in even larger numbers to the place where he was staying. He witnessed to them from morning till evening, explaining about the kingdom of God, and from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets he tried to persuade them about Jesus.Ac 14:3So Paul and Barnabas spent considerable time there, speaking boldly for the Lord, who confirmed the message of his grace by enabling them to perform signs and wonders.Ac 14:14But when the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard of this, they tore their clothes and rushed out into the crowd, shouting:1Sa 10:6The Spirit of the Lord will come powerfully upon you, and you will prophesy with them; and you will be changed into a different person.2Ti 3:17so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.Jud 1:17But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold.Ac 10:47‘Surely no-one can stand in the way of their being baptised with water. They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have.’Ac 1:2until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen.Ac 14:22strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. ‘We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God,’ they said.Ac 14:27On arriving there, they gathered the church together and reported all that God had done through them and how he had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles.Ac 13:43When the congregation was dismissed, many of the Jews and devout converts to Judaism followed Paul and Barnabas, who talked with them and urged them to continue in the grace of God.Ro 15:14I myself am convinced, my brothers and sisters, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with knowledge and competent to instruct one another.Ac 11:12The Spirit told me to have no hesitation about going with them. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.Ga 2:1Then after fourteen years, I went up again to Jerusalem, this time with Barnabas. I took Titus along also.Ac 6:2So the Twelve gathered all the disciples together and said, ‘It would not be right for us to neglect the ministry of the word of God in order to wait on tables.Ac 2:43Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles.Ac 4:35and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need.Ac 13:5When they arrived at Salamis, they proclaimed the word of God in the Jewish synagogues. John was with them as their helper.Ac 20:7On the first day of the week we came together to break bread. Paul spoke to the people and, because he intended to leave the next day, kept on talking until midnight.Ac 1:15In those days Peter stood up among the believers (a group numbering about a hundred and twenty)1Co 12:10to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues.Mr 14:41Returning the third time, he said to them, ‘Are you still sleeping and resting? Enough! The hour has come. Look, the Son of Man is delivered into the hands of sinners.Joh 15:26‘When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father – the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father – he will testify about me.Ac 9:12In a vision he has seen a man named Ananias come and place his hands on him to restore his sight.’2Co 13:11Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.Ac 8:17Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.Ac 19:8Paul entered the synagogue and spoke boldly there for three months, arguing persuasively about the kingdom of God.Mt 26:45Then he returned to the disciples and said to them, ‘Are you still sleeping and resting? Look, the hour has come, and the Son of Man is delivered into the hands of sinners.2Co 6:3We put no stumbling-block in anyone’s path, so that our ministry will not be discredited.Ac 2:33Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.Mr 13:10And the gospel must first be preached to all nations.Ac 20:35In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” ’Ac 22:20And when the blood of your martyr Stephen was shed, I stood there giving my approval and guarding the clothes of those who were killing him.”Joh 14:16And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you for ever –Ac 26:16“Now get up and stand on your feet. I have appeared to you to appoint you as a servant and as a witness of what you have seen and will see of me.Ac 4:29Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness.Joh 13:18‘I am not referring to all of you; I know those I have chosen. But this is to fulfil this passage of Scripture: “He who shared my bread has turned against me.”Ac 7:55But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God.Mr 13:9‘You must be on your guard. You will be handed over to the local councils and flogged in the synagogues. On account of me you will stand before governors and kings as witnesses to them.Ro 15:16to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles. He gave me the priestly duty of proclaiming the gospel of God, so that the Gentiles might become an offering acceptable to God, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.Ac 2:42They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.Ac 19:30Paul wanted to appear before the crowd, but the disciples would not let him.Ac 13:46Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly: ‘We had to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles.Ro 15:9and, moreover, that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written: ‘Therefore I will praise you among the Gentiles; I will sing the praises of your name.’2Co 12:12I persevered in demonstrating among you the marks of a true apostle, including signs, wonders and miracles.Ac 13:1Now in the church at Antioch there were prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen (who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch) and Saul.Mt 26:36Then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to them, ‘Sit here while I go over there and pray.’Ac 13:15After the reading from the Law and the Prophets, the leaders of the synagogue sent word to them, saying, ‘Brothers, if you have a word of exhortation for the people, please speak.’Lu 12:12for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.’Joh 12:17Now the crowd that was with him when he called Lazarus from the tomb and raised him from the dead continued to spread the word.Lu 9:1When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases,Ac 15:12The whole assembly became silent as they listened to Barnabas and Paul telling about the signs and wonders God had done among the Gentiles through them.Ac 1:26Then they cast lots, and the lot fell to Matthias; so he was added to the eleven apostles.Ac 18:27When Apollos wanted to go to Achaia, the brothers and sisters encouraged him and wrote to the disciples there to welcome him. When he arrived, he was a great help to those who by grace had believed.2Co 8:1And now, brothers and sisters, we want you to know about the grace that God has given the Macedonian churches.
