Ac 1:16and said, ‘Brothers and sisters, the Scripture had to be fulfilled in which the Holy Spirit spoke long ago through David concerning Judas, who served as guide for those who arrested Jesus.Ac 9:34‘Aeneas,’ Peter said to him, ‘Jesus Christ heals you. Get up and roll up your mat.’ Immediately Aeneas got up.Ac 5:41The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name.Ac 1:8But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.’Ac 1:4On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: ‘Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about.Ac 13:47For this is what the Lord has commanded us: ‘ “I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.” ’1Co 3:5What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe – as the Lord has assigned to each his task.Ac 20:36When Paul had finished speaking, he knelt down with all of them and prayed.Ac 13:52And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.Ac 5:12The apostles performed many signs and wonders among the people. And all the believers used to meet together in Solomon’s Colonnade.Ac 14:14But when the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard of this, they tore their clothes and rushed out into the crowd, shouting:1Sa 10:6The Spirit of the Lord will come powerfully upon you, and you will prophesy with them; and you will be changed into a different person.Ac 5:9Peter said to her, ‘How could you conspire to test the Spirit of the Lord? Listen! The feet of the men who buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out also.’Ac 6:8Now Stephen, a man full of God’s grace and power, performed great wonders and signs among the people.Mr 16:20Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it.Ac 14:27On arriving there, they gathered the church together and reported all that God had done through them and how he had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles.2Ti 3:17so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.Ac 13:43When the congregation was dismissed, many of the Jews and devout converts to Judaism followed Paul and Barnabas, who talked with them and urged them to continue in the grace of God.Ac 4:31After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.Ac 5:32We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.’Ac 11:12The Spirit told me to have no hesitation about going with them. These six brothers also went with me, and we entered the man’s house.Ro 1:5Through him we received grace and apostleship to call all the Gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith for his name’s sake.Ac 19:8Paul entered the synagogue and spoke boldly there for three months, arguing persuasively about the kingdom of God.Ac 1:2until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen.Ac 4:33With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them allAc 14:3So Paul and Barnabas spent considerable time there, speaking boldly for the Lord, who confirmed the message of his grace by enabling them to perform signs and wonders.Ac 28:23They arranged to meet Paul on a certain day, and came in even larger numbers to the place where he was staying. He witnessed to them from morning till evening, explaining about the kingdom of God, and from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets he tried to persuade them about Jesus.Ge 19:3But he insisted so strongly that they did go with him and entered his house. He prepared a meal for them, baking bread without yeast, and they ate.Ac 11:1The apostles and the believers throughout Judea heard that the Gentiles also had received the word of God.Ac 14:22strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. ‘We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God,’ they said.Ac 10:42He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that he is the one whom God appointed as judge of the living and the dead.Ac 4:35and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need.Ac 19:11God did extraordinary miracles through Paul,Ac 13:31and for many days he was seen by those who had travelled with him from Galilee to Jerusalem. They are now his witnesses to our people.Ac 22:14‘Then he said: “The God of our ancestors has chosen you to know his will and to see the Righteous One and to hear words from his mouth.Ac 18:9One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: ‘Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent.Ac 26:16“Now get up and stand on your feet. I have appeared to you to appoint you as a servant and as a witness of what you have seen and will see of me.Ac 28:31He proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ – with all boldness and without hindrance!Ac 2:43Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles.Mr 13:10And the gospel must first be preached to all nations.Lu 24:47and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.Ac 15:7After much discussion, Peter got up and addressed them: ‘Brothers, you know that some time ago God made a choice among you that the Gentiles should hear from my lips the message of the gospel and believe.Ac 8:19and said, ‘Give me also this ability so that everyone on whom I lay my hands may receive the Holy Spirit.’Jud 1:17But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold.Ac 23:11The following night the Lord stood near Paul and said, ‘Take courage! As you have testified about me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome.’Ac 12:8Then the angel said to him, ‘Put on your clothes and sandals.’ And Peter did so. ‘Wrap your cloak round you and follow me,’ the angel told him.Ac 10:19While Peter was still thinking about the vision, the Spirit said to him, ‘Simon, three men are looking for you.Ac 16:10After Paul had seen the vision, we got ready at once to leave for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.Lu 24:45Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures.Ac 8:17Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.Ac 1:3After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.Ac 21:11Coming over to us, he took Paul’s belt, tied his own hands and feet with it and said, ‘The Holy Spirit says, “In this way the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem will bind the owner of this belt and will hand him over to the Gentiles.” ’Ac 4:37sold a field he owned and brought the money and put it at the apostles’ feet.Ac 16:9During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging him, ‘Come over to Macedonia and help us.’Ac 2:33Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.Mr 14:41Returning the third time, he said to them, ‘Are you still sleeping and resting? Enough! The hour has come. Look, the Son of Man is delivered into the hands of sinners.Ac 10:47‘Surely no-one can stand in the way of their being baptised with water. They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have.’Lu 10:11“Even the dust of your town we wipe from our feet as a warning to you. Yet be sure of this: the kingdom of God has come near.”Ac 26:18to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.”Ac 1:11‘Men of Galilee,’ they said, ‘why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.’Ac 6:6They presented these men to the apostles, who prayed and laid their hands on them.Ac 19:6When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.Mt 9:8When the crowd saw this, they were filled with awe; and they praised God, who had given such authority to man.Mt 10:8Heal those who are ill, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.Ac 4:29Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness.Ac 18:5When Silas and Timothy came from Macedonia, Paul devoted himself exclusively to preaching, testifying to the Jews that Jesus was the Messiah.Ac 10:7When the angel who spoke to him had gone, Cornelius called two of his servants and a devout soldier who was one of his attendants.Ac 1:26Then they cast lots, and the lot fell to Matthias; so he was added to the eleven apostles.Ac 7:55But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God.Ac 11:24He was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and faith, and a great number of people were brought to the Lord.Mt 26:45Then he returned to the disciples and said to them, ‘Are you still sleeping and resting? Look, the hour has come, and the Son of Man is delivered into the hands of sinners.Ga 1:23They only heard the report: ‘The man who formerly persecuted us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy.’Lu 3:18And with many other words John exhorted the people and proclaimed the good news to them.Ac 19:30Paul wanted to appear before the crowd, but the disciples would not let him.Ac 27:35After he said this, he took some bread and gave thanks to God in front of them all. Then he broke it and began to eat.Ac 11:29The disciples, as each one was able, decided to provide help for the brothers and sisters living in Judea.Ac 13:9Then Saul, who was also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked straight at Elymas and said,Lu 24:35Then the two told what had happened on the way, and how Jesus was recognised by them when he broke the bread.Heb 6:2instruction about cleansing rites, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.Lu 9:33As the men were leaving Jesus, Peter said to him, ‘Master, it is good for us to be here. Let us put up three shelters – one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.’ (He did not know what he was saying.)Ac 20:35In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” ’Ac 27:33Just before dawn Paul urged them all to eat. ‘For the last fourteen days,’ he said, ‘you have been in constant suspense and have gone without food – you haven’t eaten anything.Ac 15:12The whole assembly became silent as they listened to Barnabas and Paul telling about the signs and wonders God had done among the Gentiles through them.2Co 3:18And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.Ac 13:2While they were worshipping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, ‘Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.’Mr 6:43and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces of bread and fish.
