And although there were so many, the net was not torn.Ac 4:4But many of those who had heard the word believed, and the number of the men came to about five thousand.Ac 2:14But Peter, standing with the eleven, lifted up his voice and addressed them: “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and give ear to my words.Ac 20:1After the uproar ceased, Paul sent for the disciples, and after encouraging them, he said farewell and departed for Macedonia.Ac 16:6And they went through the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia.Ac 14:7and there they continued to preach the gospel.Ac 1:12Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day’s journey away.Ac 20:7On the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread, Paul talked with them, intending to depart on the next day, and he prolonged his speech until midnight.Ac 15:25it has seemed good to us, having come to one accord, to choose men and send them to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,Lu 24:33And they rose that same hour and returned to Jerusalem. And they found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together,Ac 21:4And having sought out the disciples, we stayed there for seven days. And through the Spirit they were telling Paul not to go on to Jerusalem.Ac 26:12“In this connection I journeyed to Damascus with the authority and commission of the chief priests.Ac 21:16And some of the disciples from Caesarea went with us, bringing us to the house of Mnason of Cyprus, an early disciple, with whom we should lodge.Ac 1:17For he was numbered among us and was allotted his share in this ministry.”Ac 6:5And what they said pleased the whole gathering, and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolaus, a proselyte of Antioch.Ac 6:2And the twelve summoned the full number of the disciples and said, “It is not right that we should give up preaching the word of God to serve tables.Ac 1:16“Brothers, the Scripture had to be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit spoke beforehand by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who became a guide to those who arrested Jesus.Ac 18:24Now a Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, came to Ephesus. He was an eloquent man, competent in the Scriptures.Ac 2:1When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place.Ac 16:16As we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a slave girl who had a spirit of divination and brought her owners much gain by fortune-telling.Ac 13:48And when the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and as many as were appointed to eternal life believed.Ac 12:10When they had passed the first and the second guard, they came to the iron gate leading into the city. Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,Ac 9:27But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles and declared to them how on the road he had seen the Lord, who spoke to him, and how at Damascus he had preached boldly in the name of Jesus.Ac 1:10And while they were gazing into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes,Ac 19:8And he entered the synagogue and for three months spoke boldly, reasoning and persuading them about the kingdom of God.Ga 1:18Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Cephas and remained with him fifteen days.Ac 13:43And after the meeting of the synagogue broke up, many Jews and devout converts to Judaism followed Paul and Barnabas, who, as they spoke with them, urged them to continue in the grace of God.Ac 1:1In the first book, O Theophilus, I have dealt with all that Jesus began to do and teach,Lu 9:10On their return the apostles told him all that they had done. And he took them and withdrew apart to a town called Bethsaida.Ro 1:5through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith for the sake of his name among all the nations,Ac 9:31So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied.Ac 9:1But Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priestAc 21:10While we were staying for many days, a prophet named Agabus came down from Judea.Ac 6:7And the word of God continued to increase, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests became obedient to the faith.Ac 5:14And more than ever believers were added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women,Ac 10:44While Peter was still saying these things, the Holy Spirit fell on all who heard the word.Ro 14:18Whoever thus serves Christ is acceptable to God and approved by men.Ac 1:8But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”Ac 14:3So they remained for a long time, speaking boldly for the Lord, who bore witness to the word of his grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands.Lu 24:10Now it was Mary Magdalene and Joanna and Mary the mother of James and the other women with them who told these things to the apostles,Ac 28:15And the brothers there, when they heard about us, came as far as the Forum of Appius and Three Taverns to meet us. On seeing them, Paul thanked God and took courage.
