But people are foolish when their foolish ways trick them.1Ti 6:5 It stirs up trouble all the time among people whose minds are twisted by sin. The truth they once had has been taken away from them. They think they can get rich by being godly.Ro 3:16 They leave a trail of harmful actions.Ga 5:20 It includes worshipping statues of gods and worshipping evil powers. It also includes hatred and fighting, jealousy and fits of anger. Sinful desire is interested only in getting ahead. It stirs up trouble. It separates people into their own little groups.Pr 18:2 Foolish people don’t want to understand. They take delight in saying only what they think.Pr 14:24 The wealth of wise people is their crown. But the foolish ways of foolish people lead to what is foolish.Ec 4:5 Foolish people fold their hands and don’t work. And that destroys them.Ec 10:18 When a person won’t work, the roof falls down. Because of hands that aren’t busy, the house leaks.Ec 10:1 Dead flies give perfume a bad smell. And a little foolishness can make a lot of wisdom useless.Jas 3:15 Wisdom like this doesn’t come down from heaven. It belongs to the earth. It doesn’t come from the Holy Spirit.
