7 Be silent before the Lord God! For the day of the Lord is near; the Lord has prepared a sacrifice and consecrated his guests. (1Sa 16:5; Isa 34:6; Jer 46:10; Eze 39:17; Eze 39:19; Joe 1:15; Hab 2:20; Zep 1:14)

7 Be silent before the Sovereign Lord, for the day of the Lord is near. The Lord has prepared a sacrifice; he has consecrated those he has invited. 

New International Reader’s Version

7 Be silent in front of him. He is the LORD and King. The day of the LORD is near. The LORD has prepared a sacrifice. He has set apart for himself the people he has invited. 

King James Version

7 Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord GOD: for the day of the LORD is at hand: for the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests.
