Zephaniah 1:18

English Standard Version

18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them on the day of the wrath of the Lord. In the fire of his jealousy, all the earth shall be consumed; for a full and sudden end he will make of all the inhabitants of the earth. (Pr 11:4; Eze 7:19; Eze 36:5; Zep 1:2; Zep 3:8) 

New International Version

18 Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to save them on the day of the Lord’s wrath.’ In the fire of his jealousy the whole earth will be consumed, for he will make a sudden end of all who live on the earth. 

New International Reader’s Version

18 Their silver and gold won’t save them on the day the LORD pours out his anger. The whole earth will be burned when his jealous anger blazes out. Everyone who lives on earth will come to a sudden end.’ 

King James Version

18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD' wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.
