Zechariah 4:10

English Standard Version

10 For whoever has despised the day of small things shall rejoice, and shall see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. “These seven are the eyes of the Lord, which range through the whole earth.” (2Ch 16:9; Pr 15:3; Hag 2:3; Zec 1:16; Zec 3:9) 

New International Version

10 ‘Who dares despise the day of small things, since the seven eyes of the Lord that range throughout the earth will rejoice when they see the chosen capstone[1] in the hand of Zerubbabel?’ 

New International Reader’s Version

10 ‘Do not look down on the small amount of work done on the temple so far. The seven eyes of the LORD look over the whole earth. They will see Zerubbabel holding the most important stone. They will be filled with joy when they see it.’ 

King James Version

10 For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.
