English Standard Version

11 They must be silenced, since they are upsetting whole families by teaching for shameful gain what they ought not to teach. (1Ti 6:5; 2Ti 3:6; 2Pe 2:3) 

New International Version

11 They must be silenced, because they are disrupting whole households by teaching things they ought not to teach – and that for the sake of dishonest gain. 

New International Reader’s Version

11 They must be stopped. They are making trouble for entire families. They do this by teaching things they shouldn’t. They do these things to cheat people. 

King James Version

11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.
