12 and may your house be like the house of Perez, whom Tamar bore to Judah, because of the offspring that the Lord will give you by this young woman.” (Ge 38:29; 1Sa 2:20; 1Ch 2:4; Mt 1:3)

12 Through the offspring the Lord gives you by this young woman, may your family be like that of Perez, whom Tamar bore to Judah.’

12 The LORD will give you children through this young woman. May your family be like the family of Perez. He was the son Tamar had by Judah.’
