Ruth 2:13

13 Then she said, “I have found favor in your eyes, my lord, for you have comforted me and spoken kindly to your servant, though I am not one of your servants.” (Ge 33:15; Ru 2:2; Ru 2:10; 1Sa 1:18)

New International Version

13 ‘May I continue to find favour in your eyes, my lord,’ she said. ‘You have put me at ease by speaking kindly to your servant – though I do not have the standing of one of your servants.’

13 ‘Sir, I hope you will continue to be kind to me,’ Ruth said. ‘You have made me feel safe. You have spoken kindly to me. And I’m not even as important as one of your servants!’

13 Then she said, Let me find favour in thy sight, my lord; for that thou hast comforted me, and for that thou hast spoken friendly unto thine handmaid, though I be not like unto one of thine handmaidens.
