9 For this is what the promise said: “About this time next year I will return, and Sarah shall have a son.” (Ge 17:21; Ge 18:10; Ge 18:14) 

New International Version

9 For this was how the promise was stated: ‘At the appointed time I will return, and Sarah will have a son.’ (Ge 18:10; Ge 18:14) 

New International Reader’s Version

9 God promised, ‘I will return at the appointed time. Sarah will have a son.’ (Ge 18:10; Ge 18:14)

9 For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sarah shall have a son.
