Romans 8:15

English Standard Version

15 For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” (Isa56:5; Jer31:9; Mr14:36; Ro8:23; Ro9:4; 1Co2:12; Ga2:4; Ga4:5; Ga4:6; 2Ti1:7; Heb2:15; 1Jo4:18)

New International Version

15 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship.[1] And by him we cry, “Abba,[2] Father.”

New Int. Readers Version

15 You didn't receive a spirit that makes you a slave to fear once again. Instead you received the Holy Spirit, who makes you God's child. By the Spirit's power we call God “Abba.” Abba means Father.

King James Version

15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
