4 We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. (Joh 11:40; Ac 2:24; Ro 6:9; Ro 7:6; Ro 8:11; 2Co 5:17; 2Co 13:4; Ga 6:15; Eph 4:23; Col 2:12; Col 3:10) 

New International Version

4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. 

New International Reader’s Version

4 By being baptised, we were buried with Christ into his death. Christ has been raised from the dead by the Father’s glory. And like Christ we also can live a new life. 

King James Version

4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
