10 For the death he died he died to sin, once for all, but the life he lives he lives to God. (Heb 7:27) 

New International Version

10 The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. 

New International Reader’s Version

10 When he died, he died once and for all time. He did this to break the power of sin. Now that he lives, he lives in the power of God.
