Romans 5:13

English Standard Version

13 for sin indeed was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not counted where there is no law. (Ro 3:20) 

New International Version

13 To be sure, sin was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not charged against anyone’s account where there is no law. 

New International Reader’s Version

13 Before the law was given, sin was in the world. This is certainly true. But people are not judged for sin when there is no law. 

King James Version

13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
