Romans 4:5

English Standard Version

5 And to the one who does not work but believes in[1] him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness, (Joh 6:29; Ro 3:22) 

New International Version

5 However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness. 

New International Reader’s Version

5 But things are different with God. He makes ungodly people right with himself. If people trust in him, their faith is accepted even though they do not work. Their faith makes them right with God. 

King James Version

5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
