9 There will be tribulation and distress for every human being who does evil, the Jew first and also the Greek, (Eze 18:20; 1Pe 4:17)

9 There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; 

New International Reader’s Version

9 There will be trouble and suffering for everyone who does evil. That is meant first for the Jews. It is also meant for the Gentiles.
