Romans 15:8

8 For I tell you that Christ became a servant to the circumcised to show God’s truthfulness, in order to confirm the promises given to the patriarchs, (Mt 15:24; Joh 1:11; Ac 3:26; Ro 4:16; 2Co 1:20; Heb 3:1) 

New International Version

8 For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the Jews[1] on behalf of God’s truth, so that the promises made to the patriarchs might be confirmed

8 I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the Jews. He teaches us that God is true. He shows us that God will keep the promises he made to the founders of our nation.
