English Standard Version

18 do not be arrogant toward the branches. If you are, remember it is not you who support the root, but the root that supports you. 

New International Version

18 do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: you do not support the root, but the root supports you. 

New International Reader’s Version

18 So don’t think you are better than the other branches. Remember, you don’t give life to the root. The root gives life to you. 

King James Version

18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
