Romans 10:3

English Standard Version

3 For, being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness. (Ro 1:17) 

New International Version

3 Since they did not know the righteousness of God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness. 

New International Reader’s Version

3 They didn’t know that God’s power makes people right with himself. They tried to get right with God in their own way. They didn’t do it in God’s way. 

King James Version

3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
