10 They called out in a loud voice, ‘How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?’ 

New International Reader’s Version

10 They called out in a loud voice. ‘How long, Lord and King, holy and true?’ they asked. ‘How long will you wait to judge those who live on the earth? How long will it be until you pay them back for killing us?’ 

King James Version

10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
