11 As for the beast that was and is not, it is an eighth but it belongs to the seven, and it goes to destruction. (Re 11:17; Re 17:8) 

New International Version

11 The beast who once was, and now is not, is an eighth king. He belongs to the seven and is going to his destruction. 

New International Reader’s Version

11 The beast who used to exist, and now does not, is an eighth king. He belongs to the other seven. He will be destroyed. 

King James Version

11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
