6 for they have shed the blood of your holy people and your prophets, and you have given them blood to drink as they deserve.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

6 Those who worship the beast have poured out blood. They have poured out the life’s blood of your holy people and your prophets. So you have given blood to drink to those who worship the beast. That’s exactly what they should get.’
