5 After this I looked, and the sanctuary of the tent[1] of witness in heaven was opened, (Ex 38:21; Nu 1:50; Ac 7:44; Re 11:19) 

New International Version

5 After this I looked, and I saw in heaven the temple – that is, the tabernacle of the covenant law – and it was opened. 

New International Reader’s Version

5 After this I looked, and I saw the temple in heaven. And it was opened. The temple is the holy tent where the tablets of the covenant law were kept.
