English Standard Version

15 And it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might even speak and might cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain. (Re 14:9; Re 14:11; Re 16:2; Re 16:6; Re 19:20; Re 20:4) 

New International Version

15 The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. 

New International Reader’s Version

15 The second beast was allowed to give breath to this statue so it could speak. The statue could kill all who refused to worship it. 

King James Version

15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
