2 In the day of my trouble I seek the Lord; in the night my hand is stretched out without wearying; my soul refuses to be comforted. (Ge 37:35; Ps 20:1; Ps 50:15; Ps 63:6; Ps 86:7; Ps 143:6; Isa 26:9; Isa 26:16)

2 When I was in distress, I sought the Lord; at night I stretched out untiring hands, and I would not be comforted.

2 When I was in trouble, I looked to the Lord for help. During the night I lifted up my hands in prayer. But I refused to be comforted.
