16 When the waters saw you, O God, when the waters saw you, they were afraid; indeed, the deep trembled. (Ex 14:21; Jos 3:15; Ps 114:3; Hab 3:10) 

New International Version

16 The waters saw you, God, the waters saw you and writhed; the very depths were convulsed. 

New International Reader’s Version

16 God, the water of the Red Sea saw you. It saw you and boiled up. The deepest waters were stirred up. 

King James Version

16 The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled.
