16 Why do you look with hatred, O many-peaked mountain, at the mount that God desired for his abode, yes, where the Lord will dwell forever? (De 12:5; Ps 78:54; Ps 87:1; Ps 132:13) 

New International Version

16 why gaze in envy, you rugged mountain, at the mountain where God chooses to reign, where the Lord himself will dwell for ever? 

New International Reader’s Version

16 Why are you jealous of Mount Zion, you rocky mountain? That’s where God chooses to rule. That’s where the LORD himself will live for ever. 

King James Version

16 Why leap ye, ye high hills? this is the hill which God desireth to dwell in; yea, the LORD will dwell in it for ever.
