9 Destroy, O Lord, divide their tongues; for I see violence and strife in the city. (Ge 11:9; Jer 6:7) 

New International Version

9 Lord, confuse the wicked, confound their words, for I see violence and strife in the city.

9 Lord, confuse the sinners and keep them from understanding one another. I see people destroying things and fighting in the city.
