1 To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments. A Maskil[1] of David. Give ear to my prayer, O God, and hide not yourself from my plea for mercy! (Ps 4:1; Ps 54:2; Ps 61:1; Ps 86:6)

1 Listen to my prayer, O God, do not ignore my plea;[1]
