2 For you are the God in whom I take refuge; why have you rejected me? Why do I go about mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? (Ps 31:4; Ps 42:9; Ps 44:9)

2 You are God my stronghold. Why have you rejected me? Why must I go about mourning, oppressed by the enemy?

2 You are God, my place of safety. Why have you turned your back on me? Why must I go around in sorrow? Why am I beaten down by my enemies?
