8 They say, “A deadly thing is poured out[1] on him; he will not rise again from where he lies.” 

New International Version

8 ‘A vile disease has afflicted him; he will never get up from the place where he lies.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

8 They say, ‘He is ill and will die very soon. He will never get up from his bed again.’ 

King James Version

8 An evil disease, say they , cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more.
