Psalm 35:25

English Standard Version

25 Let them not say in their hearts, “Aha, our heart’s desire!” Let them not say, “We have swallowed him up.” (2Sa 17:16; Ps 35:21; La 2:16) 

New International Version

25 Do not let them think, ‘Aha, just what we wanted!’ or say, ‘We have swallowed him up.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

25 Don’t let them think, ‘That’s exactly what we wanted!’ Don’t let them say, ‘We have swallowed him up.’ 

King James Version

25 Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up.
