13 For I hear the whispering of many— terror on every side!— as they scheme together against me, as they plot to take my life. (2Sa 17:1; Jer 20:10; Mt 27:1) 

New International Version

13 For I hear many whispering, ‘Terror on every side!’ They conspire against me and plot to take my life. 

New International Reader’s Version

13 I hear many people whispering, ‘There is terror all around him!’ Many have joined together against me. They plan to kill me. 

King James Version

13 For I have heard the slander of many: fear was on every side: while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life.
