Psalm 30:5

English Standard Version

5 For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime.[1] Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning. (Job 33:26; Ps 63:3; Ps 103:9; Ps 126:5; Isa 26:20; Isa 54:7; 2Co 4:17) 

New International Version

5 For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favour lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. 

New International Reader’s Version

5 His anger lasts for only a moment. But his favour lasts for a person’s whole life. Weeping can stay for the night. But joy comes in the morning. 

King James Version

5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
