English Standard Version

2 The Lord looks down from heaven on the children of man, to see if there are any who understand,[1] who seek after God. (2Ch 15:2; 2Ch 19:3; Ps 11:4; Ps 102:19) 

New International Version

2 The Lord looks down from heaven on all mankind to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God. 

New International Reader’s Version

2 The LORD looks down from heaven on all people. He wants to see if there are any who understand. He wants to see if there are any who trust in God. 

King James Version

2 The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
