2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people, from this time forth and forevermore. (2Ki 6:17; Zec 2:5) 

New International Version

2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people both now and for evermore. 

New International Reader’s Version

2 Like the mountains around Jerusalem, the LORD is all around his people both now and for ever. 

King James Version

2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.
