Psalm 118:12

English Standard Version

12 They surrounded me like bees; they went out like a fire among thorns; in the name of the Lord I cut them off! (De 1:44; Ps 58:9) 

New International Version

12 They swarmed around me like bees, but they were consumed as quickly as burning thorns; in the name of the Lord I cut them down. 

New International Reader’s Version

12 They attacked me like swarms of bees. But they were burned up as quickly as thorns in a fire. By the LORD’s power I destroyed them. 

King James Version

12 They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.
