Psalm 106:28

English Standard Version

28 Then they yoked themselves to the Baal of Peor, and ate sacrifices offered to the dead; (Nu 25:3; Isa 8:19; Ho 9:10) 

New International Version

28 They yoked themselves to the Baal of Peor and ate sacrifices offered to lifeless gods; 

New International Reader’s Version

28 They joined in worshipping the Baal that was worshipped at Peor. They ate food that had been offered to gods that aren’t even alive. 

King James Version

28 They joined themselves also unto Baalpeor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
