1 My son, if you have put up security for your neighbor, have given your pledge for a stranger, (Job 17:3)

1 My son, if you have put up security for your neighbour, if you have shaken hands in pledge for a stranger,

1 My son, don’t promise to pay for what your neighbour owes. Don’t agree to pay a stranger’s bill.
