Proverbs 3:34

English Standard Version

34 Toward the scorners he is scornful, but to the humble he gives favor.[1] (Ps 1:1; Ps 138:6; Jas 4:6; 1Pe 5:5) 

New International Version

34 He mocks proud mockers but shows favour to the humble and oppressed. 

New International Reader’s Version

34 He makes fun of proud people who make fun of others. But he gives grace to those who are humble and treated badly.

34 Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly.
