Proverbs 28:17

English Standard Version

17 If one is burdened with the blood of another, he will be a fugitive until death;[1] let no one help him. (Ge 9:6) 

New International Version

17 Anyone tormented by the guilt of murder will seek refuge in the grave; let no-one hold them back. 

New International Reader’s Version

17 Anyone troubled by the guilt of murder will seek to escape their guilt by death. No one should keep them from it. 

King James Version

17 A man that doeth violence to the blood of any person shall flee to the pit; let no man stay him.
