Proverbs 22:29

English Standard Version

29 Do you see a man skillful in his work? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men. (Ge 41:46; 1Ki 10:8) 

New International Version

29 Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; they will not serve before officials of low rank. 

New International Reader’s Version

29 Do you see someone who does good work? That person will serve kings. That person won’t serve officials of lower rank. 

King James Version

29 Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men .
