Proverbs 15:32

32 Whoever ignores instruction despises himself, but he who listens to reproof gains intelligence. (Pr 8:33; Pr 8:36; Pr 19:8) 

New International Version

32 Those who disregard discipline despise themselves, but the one who heeds correction gains understanding.

32 Those who turn away from correction hate themselves. But anyone who accepts correction gains understanding.
