24 The path of life leads upward for the prudent, that he may turn away from Sheol beneath. (Pr 2:18; Php 3:20; Col 3:1)

24 The path of life leads upward for the prudent to keep them from going down to the realm of the dead.

24 The path of life leads up for those who are wise. It keeps them from going down to the place of the dead. 

King James Version

24 The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath.
