Proverbs 11:12

12 Whoever belittles his neighbor lacks sense, but a man of understanding remains silent. (Pr 14:21; Mt 7:1) 

New International Version

12 Whoever derides their neighbour has no sense, but the one who has understanding holds their tongue. 

New International Reader’s Version

12 Whoever makes fun of their neighbour has no sense. But the one who has understanding controls their tongue. 

King James Version

12 He that is void of wisdom despiseth his neighbour: but a man of understanding holdeth his peace.
