26 Like vinegar to the teeth and smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to those who send him. 

New International Version

26 As vinegar to the teeth and smoke to the eyes, so are sluggards to those who send them.

26 Those who don’t want to work hurt those who send them. They are like vinegar on the teeth or smoke in the eyes.

26 As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to them that send him.
