Proverbs 10:15

English Standard Version

15 A rich man’s wealth is his strong city; the poverty of the poor is their ruin. (Ps 52:7; Pr 18:11; Mr 10:24) 

New International Version

15 The wealth of the rich is their fortified city, but poverty is the ruin of the poor. 

New International Reader’s Version

15 The wealth of rich people is like a city that makes them feel safe. But having nothing destroys those who are poor.

15 The rich man' wealth is his strong city: the destruction of the poor is their poverty.
