Proverbs 10:13

English Standard Version

13 On the lips of him who has understanding, wisdom is found, but a rod is for the back of him who lacks sense. (Pr 6:32; Pr 19:29; Pr 26:3) 

New International Version

13 Wisdom is found on the lips of the discerning, but a rod is for the back of one who has no sense. 

New International Reader’s Version

13 Wisdom is found on the lips of those who understand what is right. But those who have no sense are punished. 

King James Version

13 In the lips of him that hath understanding wisdom is found: but a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding.
